selling SNO +47%, NEM at break-even, HPS-A 2nd entry +34%

We initially bought SNO (Snowfield Development Corp.) per this blog in December '06, selling that holding in May of '07 for an 81% profit.

We bought back into SNO in July of '06 and sell now for a 47% gain, leaving us currently with no holdings in the company. The prospects seem good, but the rise is currently speculative and we believe due for a correction unless news emerges to support it and we'd rather not gamble on that happening.

NEM (Neo Materials Technologies) we purchased in May '07 and sell now at precisely the break-even point. It has many times offered over 35% profits which we did not take, and while we still believe in this company unfortunately the stock is below the longer-term up-trend and appears that it might break below $4 support and we do not wish to see what could have been a win turn into a loss ergo we sell here at break-even.

HPS-A (Hammond Power) has been so very good to us. We intially bought per this blog in October '06 and hold that entry to this day which currently offers a gain of 220%

We added a position in February '07, selling it two weeks later for a 23% profit.

We added another position in April '07 and have written of it in bullish fashion in almost every update since then. We remian very bullish on Hammond Power. We would not be surprised to see it rise, as it often does, when its financials are soon released. However we're not currently bullish of the markets and wish to reduce our overall long exposure thus we sell this additional position in Hammond Power for a 34% profit, leaving us with our original Hammond Power position bought in October '06.

Thus far 2008 has been a good year on the Gravy Train. Our long picks posted this year are up 30% each and our short plays are all currently also "in the black", showing profits both long and short in difficult markets.
