buying CVT

We're buying CVT, CVT Corp, listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange, last at $1.02

We like the chart & price trend, and in addition there's good value as can be found by observing the earnings growth and price/earnings ratio. The company site and news releases reveals what we feel are promising prospects.

As we predicted in our last update there has indeed been a significant Dow Theory bear market signal, however most stocks and the indexes have rallied slightly off their August lows.

Presently almost everyone seems to hope recent lows represent a "double bottom reversal" and that markets are about to enjoy a seasonal rally. We're not convinced that will be the case but we remain hopeful, for should a good rally transpire on net we expect to be selling holdings and shorting into the move. Without markets hitting new all-time highs on good breadth and with real economic support, we are very skeptical that any rally will be more than a bounce before falling to new lows when viewed in historical perspective.

Until that time may come, we're comfortable with what we have and we remain bullish on our recent long entries in WGP and KWPW and short/put entries in RATE and IYT as per recent blog updates, and Hammond Power still seems a great value long to us.
