Sounds like Musk is setting himself up as a pitiful victim, and blaming short sellers, while the Board looks for a new #2.

Should there be a new 2nd-in-command, it would not surprise if Musk then went on some form of "leave" - probably forced by the Board - which quietly turns into a full departure over time.

If so it'll be very interesting how many more very painful truths come to light, operationally, financially, and legally, and whether the company even survives.
