Buying More TZA, VXX

 

Monthly bullish momentum of the DJIA is at a historic extreme, and is roughly double of its measure in late 1999 and in 2007.

And there's this:

A month ago we bought TZA and VXX. 

We're eagerly adding to triple those positions should TZA rise above $12.05 and VXX above $26.65

We won't set stops for these, at least not yet, and we don't suggest entering such positions without clear awareness of risks in this type of levered instrument or without one's individual risk tolerance and portfolio balance in mind. 

Markets haven't had a turn downward worth mention since the end of 2015, and 2017 especially hasn't been kind to short sellers.  2018 should be very different, and a significant top seems imminent.

Prudent persistence pays.
