Shorting Tesla, TSLA

TSLA is a black hole into which massive taxpayer subsidies, debt financing and ownership costs disappear. 

At some point the fantastic "paper profits" of those who choose to become "stuckholders" will disappear into that black hole too.

That the stock has failed to rally from a material drop recently, despite general markets shooting massively higher, is very bearish. 

We're shorting Tesla Motors, TSLA, which closed Monday at $305.20 and will buy to cover if it closes above $328.

We'd not be surprised to see the stock soon fail the $300 level and eventually drop to or near the nearly 5-year up trend, or around $250.
